The Culture
The best thing about working at Woodline Apparel is:
The best thing about working at Woodline Apparel is, as the owner and currently, sole employee, it is up to me alone to make sure my brand continues to grow, is inclusive and makes everyone feel represented and produces ethical/eco-friendly clothing.
When we’re not working, we’re:
spending time with my family, playing outside with my son, exercising, hiking, reading, and maybe occasionally hiding in room to myself to escape 2020 and virtual kindergarten.
What we’re reading:
Lost cities and Ancient mysteries of the Southwest by David Hatcher Childress, Green Witch by Arin Murphy-Hiscock, People Missing in the Woods by Steph Young
What we’re listening to:
Fleetwood Mac, Lord Huron, Post Malone
If they made a movie about our workplace, it would be called:
Always dreamin’, mostly about food.
Inclusion in the outdoors matters because:
I want everyone to feel represented by this brand, historically outdoor brands have not been inclusive, the outdoors should be for everyone and I want my brand to representative of that.
Five years down the line, it’s our hope that:
When people see Woodline they know that we have spent 5 years consistently working on making our brand more inclusive and making sure everyone is represented in our outdoor apparel. We also hope to be more sustainable with our products, work with more BIPOC artists, photographers and models. Continue to learn and listen and continue growing.
