The Culture
The best thing about working at the Project 16x & Boldbrew is:
We’re a small team that works together to get the job done, brilliantly.
When we’re not working, we’re:
Hiking the Weminuche, backcountry skiing, hunting, exploring the Four Corners regions and teach our kiddos about the great outdoors.
What we’re reading:
The Anthropology of Turquoise by Ellen Meloy
What we’re listening to:
Francis and the Light, Leon Bridges, Maggie Rogers
If they made a movie about our workplace, it would be called:
Mountain Town Magic
Inclusion in the outdoors matters because:
We want to acknowledge the changemakers that use their voice. We want little girls growing up in downtown Philly to know that they can have a connection with the outdoors too. And we want the people sharing this connection with them and leading the way to be people that look like them.
Five years down the line, it’s our hope that:
We can’t list all the influential POC in the outdoor industry on one web page or sheet of paper because there are too many to name. It’s the new normal. That my leadership as a white woman in the outdoor industry is quickly replaced by WOC with a stronger voice than I and more valuable things to say (I think this can and will happen now)!
