The Culture
The best thing about working here is:
Greening Youth Foundation is a place where diversity is an active priority, not just a goal.
When we’re not working, we’re:
Attending music festivals and traveling the world
What we’re reading:
“Engage, Connect, Protect: Empowering young diverse environmental leaders” by Angelou Ezeilo (coming Fall 2019!)
What we’re listening to:
Fela Kuti (classic!)
If they made a movie about our workplace, it would be called:
“I Like Big Parks And I Can Not Lie”
Inclusion in the outdoors matters because:
The land was originally protected by indigenous people and later cared for by enslaved African people. Being in the great outdoors does not have a specific gender or color but it is an opportunity to thrive and connect to communities and conservation.
Five years down the line, it’s our hope that:
Greening Youth Foundation will be in partnership with every major outdoor retailer and provide diversity and inclusion on every continent in the world.
