The Culture

The best thing about working at cairn is:

The people – our team is family and the Cairn Community is an extension of that. We share a love of the outdoors and the desire to help others discover what a connection to the outdoors means for them. We’re excited to come to work and to have the opportunity support that passion every day. Also, we never skip lake day.

When we’re not working, we’re:

Mountain biking, fly fishing, trail running, skiing / snowboarding, board gaming, dismantling and rebuilding vehicles of all sorts, watching the movie Elf, taking cold plunges (two advocates of this, but they’re trying to convince us all), and anything that involves a breath of fresh air and a beautiful view. Did we mention lake day?

What we’re reading:

Bringing out the Best in Yourself at Work: How to Use the Enneagram System for Success

What we’re listening to:

The only consistency is the Mumford & Sons station and “country music Friday.” And only one person actually likes that day.

IF THEY MADE A MOVIE ABOUT OUR WORKPLACE, It would be called:

Coconut is Polarizing

Inclusion in the outdoors matters because:

We believe that time outside feeds the soul and that we’re more connected to this planet and the people we share it with when we’re out here. We share the experience of being outside and find common ground when we’re spending time on the ground.

Five years down the line, it’s our hope that:

Anyone interested in connecting with the outdoors is excited to turn to and feel a part of Cairn as a source for discovery and engagement. And we’re still making time for lake day.
